FAFSA Information

The “new and improved” FAFSA for the 24-25 school year is set to be released by the end of December.

All families (both student and parents) completing the FAFSA will need a FSA ID.  This is something you can do NOW to be ready for the FAFSA release.

See this link for information on creating the FAFSA ID.

As a reminder, FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  The FAFSA is used to determine federal and state assistance (grants, scholarships and loan) for students attending college/training after high school.

Indiana Senate Enrolled Act 167-2023 now requires all HS Seniors to either complete the FAFSA or complete the Opt-Out Form by April 15th.

Completed opt out forms can be turned into Mrs. Munson by April 1st.

The high school will be hosting a FAFSA workshop/help night on January 1/17/24 from 5pm-7pm in the cafeteria.  You are welcome to come get help from InvestED (the experts) on completing the FAFSA.

Also, Mrs. Jansen will have opportunities for families to schedule time for help.  She can be reached at ajansen@eastnoble.net.
